Umang Agarwal is a young film and music director, composer, lyricist, and emerging poet whose creative journey began through writing — as his first sanctuary — a quiet corner where thoughts could unfurl without hesitation.

A Xaverian for over seventeen years through both school and college, Umang grew up in an environment that shaped not only his education but also the rhythm of his inner world.

Much of his work rises from the quiet hours of the night — the kind of 3 am or 4 am stillness where memory softens, longing sharpens. This introspection fueled his professional debut with short film Nimbu Paani (2024) and his original musical releases, "Reshmi" and "Bair Kare". While pursuing his graduation in Law, he learned to hold two worlds at once — the precision of legal study and the fluidity of creative expression.
